As we moved into Water’s Edge we all agreed to abide by the documents of the condominium. These documents are posted on the following pages for your convenience. 

Our condominium operates in accordance with the State of Maryland laws which are updated periodically in Annapolis by the legislature. 

When our condominium was created a Declaration document was born. This describes the basic nature of the condominium as well as the physical layout of roads and buildings. 

The detailed operation of the condominium is contained in the Bylaws. As Maryland laws are updated, they take preference if there is conflict with our Bylaws.

The day to day use of the condominium is contained in the Rules and Regulations document. This also describes steps to be taken if problems arise.

A board of directors, elected by the owners, are selected to ensure the condominium adheres to these documents. We all have the opportunity to become one of the directors. Many of the detailed tasks are performed for them by a management contractor.

The Declaration, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations are all maintained by the owners of the condominium at open meetings if changes are required. 

In Columbia we are in Town Center village and conform to the regulations of that organization.
