We've had more snow than usual the last few winters, so it's good to know what to expect.
For heavy snow falls, a contractor will start plowing when 2 inches have fallen. The snow could occur in the middle of the night, so if snow is forecast, plan ahead. Throughout the neighborhood you will find "No Parking during Snow" signs. Please do not park in these areas when snow is falling. These areas are used to pile up the cleared snow from the road and other parking spaces. Please keep these designated spots open to make the contractor's job easier and quicker (they are paid by the hour).
When a very heavy snow falls, it may take the contractor some hours to start to work on our streets. The management company or a board member will have been in contact with the contractor to have an idea of when the work will start.
Our contractor also shovels the common sidewalks for snow greater than 2-inches. Each owner is responsible for shoveling their own unit's sidewalks from the residence to the common areas.
If the snow does not reach 2-inches, it is the responsibility of the owner to remove the snow in front of their residence for reasons of safety for their family and other residents.
If you need clarification about your particular walkway please call any of the Board members.
